Realise that if God meets a specific need for you at a particular moment in time, then it is up to you to keep that event in context. He always touches individuals because He has others in mind. If you have been touched by the Holy Spirit and received a refreshing, it is so that you can go out and do something for God, not so that you can form a little bless-me club!
God spoke to Abram and said, “In you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” This should be our aim and objective – reaching far beyond ourselves and our immediate needs.
We should be reaching out further and further with this dynamic Gospel which is the power of God unto salvation. God loves you and wants to meet your needs, but He does so because he has others in mind also.
