You have a Wall of Favor Surrounding You!

What if you could be protected from the turmoil of this world? What if the things that affect others didn’t affect you?

I’m going to share something with you about the favor of God that I have never taught quite this way before. I want to show you something that I had never seen before in Scripture until just recently. And at the end of this letter, I will offer you the opportunity to receive a copy of this message from the first time I preached it publicly just a few weeks ago.

If you will grab hold of this teaching and apply these principles in your life, you will begin to experience the favor of God like never before.

In John 17:15 Jesus prayed to His Father saying, “Not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.” Jesus also said in the twenty-fourth chapter of Matthew it is possible to live in a world that is full of trouble and chaos and yet not be troubled by it.

In other words, what controls them, shouldn’t control you…what destroys them, shouldn’t destroy you…what limits them, shouldn’t limit you! Why? Because as a follower of Christ, Jesus prayed that you would be protected from the Evil One!

There is something that separates you from the rest of the world! You are in it, but you are not ofit.

We can see this was true in the life of Job. The Bible says that God had built a “hedge” around Job (Job 1:10). A hedge is a wall or a barrier that provides protection. That means God insulated Job from the things that Satan wanted to do to him. In fact, Satan accuses God of protecting Job. The Messagetranslation records Satan as saying, “No one has ever had it so good. You…make sure nothing bad ever happens to him or his family or his possessions. You bless everything he does – he can’t lose.”

Satan was fully aware that Job had this hedge or wall of protection around him and that he couldn’t penetrate it. He even tried to get God to take it down but He wouldn’t do it.

This is so important, God wouldn’t remove it and Satan couldn’t remove it. This means that the only one who could remove this wall of protection was Job himself. And as you continue to read, you discover that Job eventually did remove God’s wall of protection by opening the door to fear. After the hedge came down and Job began to experience destruction on every side, he said: “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me and that which I was afraid of is come unto me” (Job 3:25).

You don’t develop great fear overnight – these verses reveal to us that this fear had been going on for quite some time. Some translations say he was heavy with fear. It was on him night and day. Fear is the opposite of faith, and just like faith is the substance of things hoped for, fear is the substance of things dreaded.

Job’s fear brought down the hedge!

In Isaiah, chapter five, we are told that when a hedge is removed, that which had been protected will be “trodden down by the enemy.” And in Ecclesiastes, chapter ten, we are told that “whoso breaketh a hedge, a serpent will bite.”

Now, what about you and me? Through what Jesus did for us at Calvary, through grace and favor, we have now have a hedge or wall of protection from the Evil One.

You Have A Wall Of Favor Surrounding You!

David wrote in Psalm 5:12, “For surely, O Lord, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Yourfavor as with a shield.” David is revealing that God’s favor is like a wall of protection – His favor is a protection for His people.

Recently, I discovered the Hebrew word translated grace or favor actually comes from two root words. One of them means “wall of separation.” The second root word means “to continue.” Together, they mean the wall that separates and the wall that continues.

God’s favor is designed to separate us from everything that is happening in the world and to do so for the entirety of our lives. That is why the psalmist wrote, “His favor lasts a lifetime” (Psalm 30:5, NLT).

God’s wall of favor is designed to protect you for as long as you live. Now, like Job, you’re the only one that can pull it down in your life. And you do it in the same way that he did – FEAR!

Let me ask you this question: “How does fear come?” The same way that faith comes…by hearing. Paul tells us in Romans 10:17 that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. But did you know that fear comes from hearing the words of Satan? James tells us that there is a “wisdom that descendeth not from above, but is earthy, sensual, devilish” (James 3:15).

There will always be voices in your life telling you that you can’t do it, you’re going to lose, it’s not going to work out. If you listen to those negative voices long enough, it will produce in you what it produced in Job – GREAT FEAR!

I can assure you, when you allow great fear to develop on the inside then you are no longer looking to the favor of God to protect you. Don’t subject your spirit to all the negative opinions trying to distract you from God’s promises.

That’s why I’m so passionate about declaring God’s truth to you and others around the world. You need someone in your life who will be a positive voice – building your faith and driving out fear. I’ve done that for over 40 years and it is needed now more than ever!

Let me encourage you like the writer of Hebrews by saying, “Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. [God] always keeps His Word” (Hebrews 10:23, The Message). Keep your faith strong! Watch faith-building television like our broadcast, listen to Spirit-filled messages, and read uplifting, truth-packed books. Be intentional about what you give your attention to.

If you seek to have a deeper understanding of the wall of favor that God has surrounded you with, respond NOW and get your copy of my new message, Our Wall Of Favor. As my thank you for your financial support this month, I will send you this message from the FIRST time I spoke this new revelation just a few weeks ago!

Your continued, faithful support not only positions you for a harvest, it also enables this ministry to continue speaking truth and encouragement to more people. Thank you!

In Him,
Jerry Savelle

P.S. Please know that my family and I along with our entire ministry team are standing and believing with you for unprecedented favor to manifest in your life! Stand strong and stay in position to receive…don’t pull your wall of favor down.

See God’s Favor in an Unprecedented Way!

In August 1991, the Holy Spirit spoke through Brother Kenneth Copeland during his Southwest Believers’ Convention and said that I was moving into a new place in ministry. He said that I was going to begin to walk in “the office of a seer”—that God would begin showing me things in the spirit realm regarding things to come and that He would hold me responsible for sharing them everywhere I go.

Over the years since that time, I have been obedient to do just that and the beautiful thing is that what I’ve seen in my spirit has come to pass in my life just as God said it would. Not only that, we have received thousands of testimonies of how those things I’ve seen and shared have also come to pass for those who dared to believe it and hold fast to it just as I did.

Let me ask you as question: “Are you ready to see God’s favor at work in your life in a new way and at a higher level than you have ever seen before?” Well, that’s exactly what the Lord has shown me for 2013. It is going to be a year of unprecedented favor!

Now, here’s the best part: this prophetic word is not just for me but it’s for you as well! I challenge you to receive it, take it seriously and hold fast to it until you see it come to pass.

It’s not enough to just think, “Well, if God wants it to happen, then it will happen.” If it’s going to come to pass, then you’re going to have to do the same thing that the Apostle Paul told Timothy to do and that is, “wage a good warfare” (1 Timothy 1:18).

Every God-ordained prophetic word that has ever been spoken over me has come to pass. However, I’ve had to take that word and use it like a weapon. I don’t just wait to see if it happens. I do my part to make sure it happens.

If you will take this prophetic word and apply your faith for it, you will see God’s favor in an unprecedented way!

Let me help build your faith by describing to you what a year of unprecedented favor looks like in your life. Allow yourself to see on the inside a picture of God’s favor at work in a new way. Allow your heart to be the canvas, the Holy Spirit the artist, and this word from God the oil paint.

God’s unprecedented favor is going to give you an advantage and preferential treatment. When others are being told no that it can’t be done, you are going to experience special treatment and receive what others are denied. Doors are going to be opened for you and you will have the support and assistance you need to achieve your goals. You are going to be given priority and your name will be moved to the top of the list.

God’s favor in your life will produce uncommon results and change outcomes that are far better than you could ever think or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

Begin to decree that you are experiencing God’s favor in an unprecedented way. Unprecedented means that God’s favor will be manifested in ways that has never happened before, that it is unequaled, beyond anything like it, extraordinary, and record setting!

Here is how I am taking this prophetic word and waging a good warfare with it:

I’m decreeing by faith that this ministry and our outreaches will experience unprecedented favor in 2013. The number of lives we touch with the Word of God will be unprecedented. The distribution of our resources will be unprecedented. Our financial increase will be unprecedented. The message we preach will reach into new, unfamiliar, unheard of territories. Our increase of faithful partners will be unprecedented. We will introduce fresh and innovative ways to reach more people. We will pioneer new teaching materials to disciple more people with greater efficiency. We are on course for a record-setting year!

That is my confession for this year and I will be declaring it everyday over this ministry. And this time next year I will be able to report all the miraculous victories the Lord has given us as we take His word to the world!

God is no respecter of persons. If He will do it for me, then He will do it for you. You can experience a year of unprecedented favor in your relationships, finances, influence, and as a witness for God. But are you going to do what it takes on your part?

To activate your faith for more of God’s favor this year and lay hold of His prophetic word to you, you are going to have to believe it and receive it by faith, speak it continually, and sow seed toward it.

When you give, just remember that beyond planting seed for a harvest of favor, you are also helping to spread the truth and love of Christ to hurting people around the world. Because of your gifts, families are being restored, souls are being saved, and people are being set free from a life of bondage and mediocrity.

God has placed some big dreams in my heart for this year and I want you to be a part of helping to reach them. Together, we can tell more people about Jesus, the price He paid, and the life…abundant life… He made possible.

Get ready for God’s unprecedented favor! Wake up each morning expecting to see God move in new ways. I am believing with you for this to be your year of unprecedented favor!

In Him,
Jerry Savelle

P.S. Don’t take this prophetic word lightly! Grab hold of it and activate your faith to receive it. Don’t just wait to see if it happens, be a part of making sure it happens!

Your Repeated Attacks Are About to End!

There seems to be more pressure on God’s people to quit today than at any other time I’ve known. But quitting is not what you want to do. Keep trusting God…your victory is on the way!

Delivering His people from problems is nothing new for God!

If fact, God’s promise to you and me is that we will win over Satan’s attacks. The psalmist wrote speaking of our victory, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous BUT the Lord delivers him out of them all” (Psalm 34:19).

So many of God’s people today seem to be at the end of their rope. I’ve heard numerous times lately, “Brother Jerry, I just don’t think I can go on.”

Satan desires to afflict people and God loves setting them free.

What do I mean by afflict? Before the Lord spoke to me about this and I began to study it, I always related affliction to sickness or disease. While it could include health issues, affliction means a state of pain, distress or grief, repeated adversity, calamity and loss.

As I began studying this a few weeks ago, the Lord instructed me to tell you, “Your repeated attacks are about to end!" No matter what you are going through right now, God is going to turn it around.

Satan afflicts, but God always delivers!

The Apostle Paul writes of the faithfulness and deliverance of God saying, “Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me…what persecutions I endured, but out of them all the Lord delivered me” (2 Timothy 3:11).

Maybe you have experienced repeated attacks. It just seems like one thing after another. Maybe you’re wondering, “Lord, why is all this happening to me? Why is it that I seem to be under attack all the time?”

You must understand that these attacks are designed to steal the Word from your heart. You and I have a spiritual enemy that wants to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10). And the only way he can beat you is if you stop trusting in the Word of God. Jesus said “…where the Word is sown…Satan comes immediately and takes away the Word that was sown…affliction or persecution arises for the Word’s sake…” (Mark 4:15-17).

That’s what Satan is after…this is what it’s all about…the Word of God in your heart. If he can get you to let go of the Word, then you’re not a threat to him. Not only that, but it’s not likely you’ll ever experience God’s best for your life.

But if you will “resist steadfast in the faith” (1 Peter 5:9), then God will bring deliverance every time.

God is about to deliver you just like He has delivered His people before. In Exodus 3:7-8 the Lord said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people… and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmaster, for I know their sorrows and I am come down to deliver them…”

God sees the affliction you have suffered. He sees the repeated adversity that you have faced. He knows the deep sorrow that they have caused. He has heard your cry and is going to deliver you out of them all!

By what process will God bring this deliverance? If you continue reading the account in Exodus 3:21, God says He will deliver us “…I will give this people favor.”

The Holy Spirit recently told me to tell God’s people to get ready for an unprecedented outpouring of His favor.

The favor of God will break the cycle of repeated attacks and set you on a path of victory. When God’s favor is poured out on your life, it starts changing the present course of things and gives you the advantage to be successful.

Look at how the book of Acts describes the deliverance that God brought to Joseph: “And the patriarchs, jealous of Joseph, sold him into Egypt; but God was with him and rescued him out of all his afflictions and gave him favor… (Acts 7:9-10, ESV).

Joseph, himself, later declared, “God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction” (Genesis 41:52). God said that’s where we’re headed. His favor is going to be poured out like never before and cause you to be blessed and overcome the attacks coming against you.

That’s why the devil has fought day and night trying to get you to give up. DON’T DO IT! Your situation is about to turn.

Don’t be deceived into giving up based upon what you can see. What you can’t see is what God is doing behind the scenes. He’s working on something! Paul said, “…eye hath not seen…the things which God hath prepared for them that love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9).

Your affliction, the repeated attacks are about to come to an end. The God who delivers is preparing a deliverance for you.

Don’t miss out on what God is about to do by not activating your faith to receive it.

Together, we are teaching people to trust God’s Word and how to live the life of victory Jesus paid for us to have.

If you will link your faith with mine and lay hold of what God has said, your repeated attacks are about to end and you will see God’s favor like never before during 2013. Let’s walk in faith and go after everything God has for us!

In Him,
Jerry Savelle

It’s Your Time to Increase More and More!

My wife, Carolyn, and I along with our family and ministry staff, pray you have a blessed and joyous Christmas. During this time, we celebrate with you the birth of our Savior and reflect on how He has changed our lives.

The Lord has been speaking to me about this upcoming year and He brought a well-known Scripture to my remembrance. In John 10:10, Jesus proclaims the purpose for which He came. That purpose was to give us “life, and life more abundantly.”

The best plans and ideas you could come up with for your family, business, or ministry don’t compare to the MORE that God wants to do for you and through you.

Have you ever thought, “If I had more time, resources, friends, influence, I would…?” Well, I have good news for you, we serve a God of MORE than enough! Refuse to settle for less than ALL that God has for you. Jesus came and paid the price for your sins and mine so that we could live a blessed life.

The Psalmist tells us:
The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless those who fear the Lord, both small and great. May the Lord give you increase more and more, you and your children (Psalm 115:12-14, NKJV).

More is a great way to describe God. He never regresses. He always progresses. God is in the business of doing more and more, not less and less.

Ever since I surrendered my life to Christ, I have continued to increase. Without Christ I was in debt up to my eyeballs, my marriage was hanging on by a thread, and I was a quitter. But God had something more planned for my life.

I had no idea what God had in store for me. I didn’t dedicate my life to Christ so that He would bless me. I was convicted of my sin and knew that I needed a savior. I had spent years messing up my life and I needed forgiveness and a new ruler—I needed Jesus!

When I accepted Jesus as my Savior, God told me that He is a Master at making champions out of nobodies. That is exactly what He has done in my life. He took someone that was barely existing and about to lose everything and He poured out His favor and blessing on my life. That is what He did for me and I know that He will do it for you also!

Jesus came to reveal to us the character of God and He said, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him” (Matthew 7:11, NKJV)!

Jesus is saying that our God is a God of more. Start declaring more of the goodness of God in your life today. In 2012 you have only seen a glimpse of God’s goodness and now is the time for you to experience more!

As God continues to bless you more and more, determine to live a life of praise and thanksgiving. In Psalm 107, we are admonished to “Give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works.”

Believe with me that 2013 is going to be a year of more and more! Wake up every morning thanking God for His goodness and favor in your life. Make it a habit to praise God for His goodness. Never allow the blessing to take your eyes off the Blesser. The apostle Paul charged Timothy to tell the rich not to put their hope in wealth that is uncertain but in our God who gives us everything for our enjoyment (see 1 Timothy 6:17).

That tells me that God intends for us to enjoy His blessing and to always turn that blessing back to praise. We should stay mindful that it is the Lord that gives us the power to prosper.

My desire in ministry is to help you receive all that God has in store for you. I want to see you increase, I want to see you victorious, and I want to equip you to accomplish more for the Kingdom of God.

I want our story to be like Jacob and Laban’s. In Genesis chapter 30, Laban says to Jacob, “I have become wealthy, for the Lord has blessed me because of you.” Jacob replies, “You had little indeed before I came, but your wealth has increased enormously. The Lord has blessed you through everything I’ve done” (Genesis 30:27, 30, NLT).

When God comes on the scene, He turns little into more. One of the ways God reveals His blessing and manifests His favor is by what I call increase by association. That’s what we see happen in Laban’s life because of Jacob.

I know that the revelation and biblical principles God shows me isn’t just for my benefit…my mandate is to declare these truths to you and help you to be a winner in life. Increase comes when we are connected.

In this coming year, I want to see more people reached, more lives changed, and more people inspired to become all that God created them to be. Each day this ministry is on the front lines proclaiming God’s goodness and setting people free from the lies of Satan and the chains of defeat.

In closing, I pray for God’s peace and joy for you and your family this Christmas and New Year. Your best days are ahead of you. I declare that 2013 will be a year of more and more in your life!

In Him,
Jerry Savelle

Favor Like Never Before

My wife, Carolyn, and I have faced so many impossible situations in our lives. Times that we stepped out in faith and everything seemed as if it wasn’t going to work out. But no matter how seemingly impossible it was, God’s favor has always caused us to be victorious.

The Body of Christ is under a lot of pressure, particularly financially. As I travel around the world ministering, I see how people are hurting everywhere. But God is not going to allow them to be destroyed.

What seems impossible in your life today? Are you standing against attacks in your finances, your marriage, or your health?

The Lord gave me this prophetic word for you:

GET READY FOR AN UNPRECEDENTED OUTPOURING OF GOD’S FAVOR!

As I have studied Scripture, I have discovered a pattern for when God’s favor is poured out. I want to share this timely revelation with you today!

In Romans 5:20, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul writes, “where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.” In this context, Paul is talking about the condition of mankind after Adam and Eve’s fall — sin abounded.

One of the meanings of the word abound is overrun. Mankind was overrun by sin and nothing but an outpouring of God’s grace could change that. And that grace came in the form of Jesus Christ. We can read in 2 Corinthians 5:21, For [God] hath made [Jesus] to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Even though it appeared that man was doomed for eternity due to sin, God would not allow Satan to fulfill that mission. Jesus gave of Himself so that we could be set free.

But let’s look at this verse again and I want you to see it in a little different way. I want to show you a powerful principle here. We’ll discover the principle by which God operates that reveals a pattern of when favor is manifested.

Look again at Romans 5:20 where Paul said, “where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.”

Sin could be called “the work of Satan.” After all, he’s the author of it. He’s the originator of it. It represents him, his nature, and his plan. It was not God who brought sin into the earth, it was engineered by Satan.

So, we could say that whenever something that is authored by, originated by, or engineered by Satan attempts to abound, God’s grace does much more.

God’s grace always abounds more! God will never allow Satan to have the upper hand. Satan may think he has you just where he wants you, but God always steps in.

One definition the dictionary lists for sin is “wickedness.” And one of the synonyms for the wordwickedness is “darkness.” And we know that Satan’s kingdom is referred to as “the kingdom of darkness” and he himself is referred to as the “prince of darkness” and everything he does is considered the “work of darkness.”

So, where the works of darkness abound, grace, the unmerited favor of God, abounds much more!

I want you to see the established model or pattern whereby God operates. He is showing us in this verse:

EVERY TIME THE WORKS OF SATAN SEEM TO ABOUND, GET READY FOR AN OUTPOURING OF GOD’S FAVOR TO ABOUND MUCH MORE!

God will never allow your adversary to have the final word!

Just like the children of Israel, Satan thought he had them where he wanted them and so did Pharaoh. But during their time of affliction and sorrow (Exodus 3:7-8) God said, “Now shalt thou see what I will do (Exodus 6:1). And in Exodus 11:3 it says, “The Lord gave the people favor.”

An outpouring of His favor upon His people became His way of overcoming all their oppression and bondage. And today God’s people are crying out for deliverance and for breakthroughs and I believe we are going to see an unprecedented out-pouring of God’s favor just like it was for the children of Israel!

Another example of this pattern of favor can be seen in Psalm 102:1-13. It is a prayer of David when he was afflicted and feeling overwhelmed. The pressure of everything he is going through is beginning to look as though it’s impossible to bear. But then in verse 13 David speaks by faith and says, “Thou shalt arise and have mercy on Zion, for the time to favor her, yea, the set time is come.

There it is again! When Satan thinks he’s got you right where he wants you then God causes an outpouring of His favor to occur. God is not going to allow the devil to have the final word!

Whatever Satan attempts to do to destroy us, God will come back with a victory in our lives that will be even far greater than the destruction Satan wanted to cause.

WHERE THE WORKS OF SATAN AND THE WORKS OF DARKNESS ABOUND, THE FAVOR OF GOD WILL MUCH MORE ABOUND!

Paul said that in the ages to come that God would “clearly demonstrate the immeasurable, limitless, surpassing riches of His free grace, His unmerited favor in His kindness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:7, AMP).

That says to me that we’re headed for an outpouring of His favor in an unprecedented way! This is not the time to give up. It’s time to start watching for and expecting God’s favor to show up on your behalf like never before! Satan will not have the final word. God will arise and His favor will be poured out in your life!

In Him,
Jerry Savelle
Jerry Savelle

P.S. Continue to stand firm on the prophetic word for 2012…a year of fulfillment. It is not too late for your expectations to be fulfilled.

It’s Your Time to Flourish!

I am so thankful for you. It is encouraging to me to know that the Lord has chosen me to speak His truth into your life. What an honor and a privilege!

Our God is in the business of fulfilling what He promises. We are entering into a time of fulfillment. A time when God is consummating or bringing to pass the things He pledged, promised, and vowed.

We have entered into a time in which we are about to see more promises from His Word fulfilled than perhaps we’ve ever seen before. You could say it like this: UNPRECEDENTED!

You see, throughout history, every time God’s people have come under heavy attack by their enemy, God always retaliates with a major outpouring of His love, His goodness, and His favor. Do you remember the children of Israel when they were being oppressed by the Egyptians?

God retaliated and the Bible says that He told His people:

…I will execute judgment…And the Lord gave the people favor…and they spoiled the Egyptians (Exodus 12:12, 36).

Their time had come and their enemy couldn’t do a thing to stop them. It was their time for breakthrough. It was their time for flourishing.

God is about to do it again! He is not going to leave you in misery or pain. He’s not going to leave you oppressed, held back, or restricted.

According to the Bible, tests and trials and hardships and challenges can only last for a season.

The Apostle Peter wrote, “You have endured many trials for a little while” (1 Peter 1:6-11, NLT). The Apostle Paul said it like this, “Our present troubles won’t last very long…” (2 Corinthians 4:17, NLT).

This means that your hardship and trials cannot last forever. They are coming to an end. That’s God’s promise! The prophetic Word which we have received is that this is our YEAR OF FULFILLMENT!

I’m declaring by the Word of the Lord, the seasons are changing!

I believe, just like in Exodus, that our God is saying once again, “Enough is enough, Let My People Go” (see Exodus 9:1).

The Psalmist David wrote Psalm 102 during a time of great discouragement. He starts the chapter by talking about how bad things are. He feels overwhelmed. What he is going through seems entirely impossible. He needs answers fast…he is on the verge of giving up.

But while David is crying out to the Lord, there is a shift that takes place as God gives him a revelation. In verse 13 David boldly declares, God will arise and save His people, “for the time to favor her, yea the set time is come…” (see Psalm 102:1-13).

You might be thinking, “But when is this set time?”

Well, if we look at these verses carefully, it could be at the time when God’s people have become overwhelmed (as David had) but refused to give up — then that’s when God says once again, “Enough is enough. Let my people go!”

To say there is a set time for something means that it is in the plan, in the mind, and in the will of God. It means nothing can change that which has been set. Although you and I have had access to God’s favor since the day we made Jesus the Lord of our lives, I believe that what has come upon us now is a time of favor like no other generation has ever seen.

I’m not saying that we won’t be opposed, or that we won’t experience some adversity. We will. But when the favor of God is on our side, we’ll face adversity and overcome it just like the three Hebrew children did (see Dan. 3:19-30). They went through the flames and came out on the other side with not so much as a singed hair or the smell of smoke on their clothes.

The Apostle Paul encourages us today with these words: “Let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we will reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9).

I believe if you refuse to give up, your “due season” has come!

This is your time for God’s promises to be fulfilled! You have entered into a new season. Your specified time for flourishing is here!

Listen to God’s promise to you and me:

But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. For they are transplanted to the Lord’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God. Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green (Psalm 92:12-14, NLT).

This is your time to flourish! Maybe you’re thinking, “But how can you be so sure?” Because I have the Word of the Lord on it. He told me that this is a year of fulfillment.

And according to Daniel 2:21, God changes the times and the season. That means He reserves the right to determine when it is time for things to change — not the government, not the economy, and certainly not the media!

No matter what you are going through, regardless of the pressure to quit, even if it looks impossible…hold on, don’t give up, God is about to turn things around for you. Your breakthrough is on its way.

The next time you feel like quitting, you just tighten your belt a little more, drive your stake a little deeper, and stand your ground and tell the devil, “If it’s a fight you want, it’s a fight you’re going to get.” But when the dust settles, it will be you and God who are still standing!

God is saying to you today, “Your due season to flourish has come!”

According to Ecclesiastes 3, there is a season for everything and “A time to plant and a time to harvest.” This tells me that the season of fulfillment that we have entered into is the time when we will harvest from the seeds we have sown!

If you are like me, you have planted seed and haven’t seen the complete fulfillment of the harvest yet. But if the Bible is true…and it is, if God keeps His promises…and He does, there is a harvest that is coming your way.

The Bible promises that whatever a man gives, that will he also reap! Don’t give up on the seeds you have sown. Stay in faith. Keep trusting God. Your time to flourish is here!

As I close this letter, let me just say how grateful I am that God has linked us together. Once again, I am so honored that you allow me to speak God’s truth into your life. I pray that it is encouraging and life-giving to you.

In Him,

P.S. When the pressure is on and you’re facing hardships, it is easy to get discouraged. In those times, keeping your faith strong is vitally important. That is what I am here for — to encourage you and strengthen your faith. I’m praying for you and believing for God’s best in your life.

Life Should be Good

Have you ever had anyone ask you, “How’s life treating you today?” If someone asked you that today, what would your answer be?

This past week I went to the store to pick up some supplies and while waiting in line to pay, I overheard the cashier ask the person in front of me that question, “How’s life treating you today?” Well, you should have heard all the negative things that came out of the person’s mouth. And when he got through, the cashier took up where he left off.

I thought to myself, “How sad” and then, secondly, I thought, “This is sermon material!” (I should advise you that what you say in my presence could end up in a sermon!)

A lot of people today are, for the most part, not enjoying life—they’re just existing. That might be okay for the world, but it shouldn’t be okay for the child of God!

Don’t get me wrong, life can be very challenging. But, how good or how bad your life is has everything to do with what I call THE P.R. FACTOR.

It’s a new phrase—I just invented it, however, the principle has been around for a long, long time. In fact, in just a moment, I’ll show you how the Psalmist David and the Apostle Paul applied this principle in their lives.

But first, what is THE P.R. FACTOR? It’s how you PERCEIVE and REACT! In other words, life is good or bad depending on how you perceive challenges and how you react to them.

What if the way you have been looking at your circumstances isn’t correct? What if you are being distracted and not seeing the greater truth? When you are going through a challenge, if your perspective is right, your reaction will be right.

When the armies of Israel saw Goliath they perceived him as being “too big to kill” and reacted in fear. But when David saw Him, he perceived, “he’s too big to miss” and he reacted in faith and confidence that God would enable him to defeat him (see 1 Samuel 17).

When the Apostle Paul faced his challenges, he perceived them as a “light affliction which is but for a moment” (2 Corinthians 4:17).

Now that’s how we need to be today. You might be thinking, “But how did Paul get to the place where he could go through beatings, imprisonment, shipwreck and more yet call it a ‘light affliction’?” I would say, A LOT OF TIME WITH GOD!

The only way to develop a godly perspective is to spend time with God.

I once heard someone say: “Life should come with a warning label—Do not attempt by yourself!” I think that’s really why so many people today are living unhappy lives—they’re attempting to do it by themselves.

Solomon, one of the wisest men who ever lived tells us:

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil (Proverbs 3:5-7, The MESSAGE)!

We should all do what Solomon advises—RUN TO GOD!

I’ve said for over 43 years, “The greatest revelation you’ll ever receive is this: GOD IS SMARTER THAN YOU!” There are just some things that come our way that we’re just not smart enough to figure out. But one thing is sure—HE ALWAYS KNOWS WHAT TO DO!

When you run to God and gain His perspective, He will always lead you to a better place. God never intended for our lives to be miserable. That’s not the life that Jesus came to give us.

Listen to what Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30 to those who are miserable and weary:

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly (The MESSAGE).

It sounds to me like Jesus is telling us that when we face challenges, we just need to spend more time with Him.

When it seems as though everything around you is caving in on you, run to God and not from Him! How much better and more satisfying would your life be if you would allow God to shape your perspective?

It’s not about how many times a month you go to church or how many times in a month you read a chapter from the Bible—that’s part of it, but it’s really about how much personal time you actually spend with Him.

I know for a fact that my life would not be what it is today if I had not made a commitment 43 years ago to spend quality time with Him on a consistent basis.

If you are going to live above all the chaos that is taking place in this world today, then it will be because you keep company with Him.

The Psalmist wrote that if you will “sit down in the High God’s presence, spend the night in El Shaddai’s shadow . . . His huge outstretched arms protect you—under them you’re perfectly safe…no harm will ever graze you. You’ll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance . . . evil can’t get close to you, harm can’t get through the door” (see Psalm 91, The MESSAGE).

That sounds as though God is telling us that as long as we keep company with Him, then life will be good! That’s not to say there won’t be any challenges, but it is saying that none of them will defeat us. When challenges arise, Isaiah 54:17 tells us that the weapons formed against us will not prosper.

Refuse to allow all the negative things that are happening around you, distract you. Keep your eyes on Jesus and stay in fellowship with Him. Allow Him to form your perspective and empower your response.

As I travel and speak around the world, I meet so many people who are missing out on the good life God desires for them . . . they suffer from a wrong perspective. But, I am also greatly encouraged by testimony after testimony this ministry receives from people whose lives have been changed by the power of God.

That is why I am so passionate about studying and teaching God’s Word. In fact, my new book, The Favor of God, is packed with such deep revelation that people who read it will begin to see themselves, God, and life from a godly perspective like never before.

Every meeting I speak at, every television broadcast that airs, and every faith- building resource we produce, is helping people change their perspectives and see things the way God sees them. For many people, it’s the first time their eyes have been opened to truth.

Make the decision now to spend more time with God. Run to Him and allow Him to shape the way you see your family, career, ministry. . . life. When challenges come your way, the right perspective will always cause you to react in faith.

Know that our entire worldwide ministry team is praying for and standing with you!

In Him,
