As we enter into this Christmas period let us be examples of the truth and love of our Saviour Jesus Christ.

The only way to keep good will and high esteem is to be a person who can be trusted. People with integrity have nothing to hide or fear. Christ, our perfect example, is credible at all times. As His followers we need to walk in truth.

Are you living what you say? Are you living what the Word says? Many children see their parents steal, cheat and lie and then watch the same parents go to church on Sunday.

Also as the world watches our behaviour, our actions, hears our words and sees that they don’t match. This creates confusion and often rebel- lion against God. Allow your words and deeds to be in perfect union. Your word should be your bond. God’s Word is His bond.

Remember this: I have heard it said that children learn in one of three ways:

• By example
• By example
• or By example!

I think that applies to all age groups. Let’s be the example that shows Him to the world.

At the annual Heritage of Faith Volunteers Breakfast for 2015 held at the Skydeck at Q1 Resort, Br Joe McCroskey shared a few words of encouragement with our amazing volunteers in apprecation of everything that they do for the church and the body of Christ.

He prayed a special prayer over the team.

Unfortunately, the 'Ushering in the Glory' Tour 2015 in Australia with Br Jerry & Ms Carolyn has been postponed. We do not know at this stage when this tour will be rescheduled. Please see below a personal letter from Br Jerry.

Dear Partners & Valued Friends,

First of all, I’d like to express to you my sincere appreciation for your confidence in this Ministry and in Carolyn and myself.

We are deeply appreciative of your love, your support and your prayers. God has truly blessed us with the best to help us fulfill the call that He has placed on our lives.

At this time, I also need to let you know how very sorry I am that I will not be able to be with you in May for my Australian Tour. On Thursday evening, April 23, I experienced something that I’ve never experience before and was taken to the Emergency Room. After several tests, I was told that I had experienced what is called a Transient Ischemic Attack, commonly referred to as a “warning stroke”.

Since I have lived in great health all these years, you can imagine what a shock this was to me, however, at the same time I have decided to describe it as “my wakeup call”.

I have been given instructions – both from the Doctors and the Holy Spirit – as to what to change in my daily routine and I’m already practicing them. I have also been instructed to take at least one month off – no work, no travel, no ministering – and I’m being obedient.  

I want you to know that I’m fine and have nothing to fear or to worry about. Brother Copeland told me that while he was praying for me the Lord told him, “The devil tried to take Jerry out and couldn’t do it and will never be able to do so.” I rejoice in that word.

The Tree of Life Village, a local Gold Coast organisation, is welcoming the community to join them in viewing the new Peter Cousens Film “FREEDOM”, Staring Cuba Gooding Jr.

This will be a charity screening prior to release around the world. They have 2 screenings available and your are welcome to join both. The first is the “World Premier Screening “of FREEDOM which “Heritage Films” has graciously given them.

This will be held at Robina Gold Class Cinemas on Friday the 15th August at 4pm. This will be a Black Tie Gala Event and all proceeds will go directly to the Tree of Life Village. Ticket prices for this Event are $150 per person or $250 per couple. There will be Drinks and canapés on arrival, trio band in private Foyer, Speech and ceremony from the mayor of the Gold Coast, Local and Australian Celebrities and the first viewing of the film in the world. Seats are limited and this will be a milestone event.

Prior to release on the 21st of August. There will be a standard viewing of the film in Robina, Morayfield and Wollongong Cinemas. Ticket prices are $26 per person and all money will go direct to the charity. Tickets are available from EVENTBRITE.com.au or at the box office on the day.

Can you imagine how the disciples felt when Jesus made this most remarkable statement? “It is to your advantage that I go away” They had walked with the Messiah for three years. Seen Him heal the lame, give sight to the blind and raise the dead! 

You see until Jesus died He could not be in anybody, He could only be in one place at any one time and could only be amongst a certain number of people. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, can be with you right where you are and with other Christians, on the other side of the world at the same time. 

The greatest mystery and miracle that there is, is that God, the Creator of the universe, should come to live within you and me. Christ in you – the hope of glory. Think about that! The result of being full of Jesus will result in a lifestyle that lives for Him. 

Let’s make the month of April a celebration of His indwelling Presence.
