Praying for Israel

Heavenly Father, God of the Everlasting Covenant, according to Psa 122:6-7 I pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. For the coming together of the Heavenly and Earthly Jerusalem. I pray for peace, safety and wholeness upon earthly Jerusalem and for security within her borders. I pray for protection of her people and military personnel. In accordance with Isa 62:6-7 I will not keep silent but I will continue to pray and intercede till you make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. Heavenly Father, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, You promised in Ez 36:24 and Amos 9:14-15 that you would bring every Israelite from among the nations of the world back to their land Israel and that this time they would not be plucked out again. I pray for finances to be released for every Israelite to return home to Israel. I pray for their identity papers to be found and verified, for their health to be strong for the return trip and new life in Israel. I pray for their alibility to change languages as needed. I pray for work in Israel for them as they return, for friendly supportive connections to be formed to make the transition easy and enjoyable. Now Father, according to Mar 11:24 I believe I receive this prayer answered now and I praise you and thank you for it in Jesus name. Amen.

Psa 122:6-7 Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity (security) within thy palaces.

Ez 36:24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Amos 9:14-15 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God.

Isa 62:6-7 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day or night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence, and give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Prayer for Our Nation

Heavenly Father, according to 1 Tim 2:1-2 I pray for my nation Australia, for the Prime Minister Tony Abbott and every member of Government, Federal, State and Local. I pray that your hand be upon them, that they receive a revelation of You, Your Word, Your Wisdom and Your Righteousness. That your Word and Spirit will have free reign in this land. That we may live quiet, peaceable, Godly and honest lives. I pray according to Mat 9:37-38 that if any Governmental Leader in this nation does not know you that you send labourers across their path to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel to them in power and anointing. Now Father according to Mar 11:24 I believe I receive this prayer answered now. Thank you Father in Jesus name. Amen.

1 Tim 2:1-2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Mat 9:37-38 Then He said to His disciples; The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Mar 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Words of Encouragement for July

Two Little Words Change Everything!

Outside of Christ, I am only a sinner but in Christ, I am saved.

Outside of Christ, I am empty; in Christ I am full.

Outside of Christ, I am weak; in Christ I am strong.

Outside of Christ, I cannot; in Christ, I am more than able.

Outside of Christ, I have been defeated; in Christ, I am already victorious.

How meaningful are the words, “IN CHRIST

Special Guest Speaker – Clark Taylor

This July we have the awesome privilege of welcoming back Ps Clark Taylor as our special guest.

Clark Taylor was born near Beaudesert in a farmhouse in 1937. By the age of 16 he was running stock camps on his family’s property in the Northern Territory. He grew up as a real ‘Aussie Bloke’ – fighting in the pubs and working hard, rounding up wild cattle and branding them, living under the stars eating damper, corned beef and the like.

In 1959 Clark attended a Billy Graham crusade where he became a Christian. He made a habit of making Jesus his friend. Clark then went through six years of theological college. He found this very difficult as he had left school at a very young age and was almost illiterate. He had to learn subjects such as Greek and Hebrew. Clark met his wife Anne while she was also at Bible College and they fell in love and subsequently married.

Clark became a Methodist minister. He had encounters with God which left him able to hear from God and move in what we call a ‘Word of Knowledge’ and he started to see people healed. As this didn’t really gel with the Methodist ministry at the time, he left and eventually Clark and Anne founded Christian Outreach Centre in 1974.

The Brisbane COC grew to 5000 members, and Clark and Anne trained ministries to start over 200 other Centres as well. They also founded Christian Outreach College, a school which is thriving and successful even today with around 2000 students, and Christian Heritage College, a Christian university which is fully government-recognised.

During the early eighties, Clark ran a program called ‘A New Way of Living’ which was aired on Channel Nine, Sunday mornings. This program was incredibly popular, and people still recognise him today from that program.

In 2000, Clark and Anne founded WorshipCentre.

Clark reflects Jesus in his preaching and moves powerfully in healing and Word of Knowledge. He has a way of relating to all people and is a very ‘real’ person. His messages are simple and bring real, practical answers to peoples’ lives. A tangible presence of God is a mark of the meetings he conducts.

Clark and Anne now divide their time between WorshipCentre, itinerant ministry and taking some well-deserved time to go caravanning and fishing.

Clark Taylor will be preaching at Heritage of Faith on Sunday 20th July 2014 at 9:30am

We also will be live streaming this service on our website
