Special Guest Speaker: David Block

David Block is an astronomer and highly sought after motivational speaker, who has devoted over 30 years to encouraging audiences around the globe to always look up and to never, never, give up! He speaks from the heart; sharing in-depth lessons from his world of research.

He was elected a fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society of London at the young age of 19 and his first research paper was published at the age of 20. He has been a visiting research scientist at universities all over the world including Harvard University and currently serves as a Professor in the School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

In 2013 he was recognized as one of South Africa’s greatest Communicators in Science.

Professor David’s time is taken up with his research work, teaching commitments and presentations to Churches but in saying all of that he is a very dedicated family man to his three sons.

A Word from the Lord for 2016 – The Year of the Great Breaking Loose

”Extraordinary things are taking place in the heavenlies and 2016 will come to be known as THE YEAR OF THE GREAT BREAKING LOOSE

More and more notable miracles will break loose in the earth

More and more signs and wonders

More and more angelic visitations

More and more instant healings

More and more deliverances from demonic activity

And more and more finances will break loose so My people can do more for the Kingdom, saith the Lord

And during this time of THE GREAT BREAKING LOOSE, the enemy will no longer be able to hold back that which My faithful ones have stood in faith for, not even the things that looked as though they would never come to pass

For I will cause them to break loose and to SUDDENLY manifest and to do so in such a way that no one will be able to deny the greatness of your God

Yes, 2016 will be a year in which the FAITHFUL shall be rewarded beyond their highest expectations and they shall abound in My blessings as never before”

Walk in Truth

As we enter into this Christmas period let us be examples of the truth and love of our Saviour Jesus Christ.

The only way to keep good will and high esteem is to be a person who can be trusted. People with integrity have nothing to hide or fear. Christ, our perfect example, is credible at all times. As His followers we need to walk in truth.

Are you living what you say? Are you living what the Word says? Many children see their parents steal, cheat and lie and then watch the same parents go to church on Sunday.

Also as the world watches our behaviour, our actions, hears our words and sees that they don’t match. This creates confusion and often rebel- lion against God. Allow your words and deeds to be in perfect union. Your word should be your bond. God’s Word is His bond.

Remember this: I have heard it said that children learn in one of three ways:

  • By example
  • By example
  • or By example!

I think that applies to all age groups. Let’s be the example that shows Him to the world.

Heritage of Faith Volunteers Breakfast 2015 Prayer

At the annual Heritage of Faith Volunteers Breakfast for 2015 held at the Skydeck at Q1 Resort, Br Joe McCroskey shared a few words of encouragement with our amazing volunteers in apprecation of everything that they do for the church and the body of Christ.
