Once again this year, we have the privelege of having Tom Inglis with us again on Sunday 7th August 2016. Tom will be preaching at our 9.30am service and also at our special worship evening at 6pm.

Tom was appointed worship pastor of Rhema Bible Church in Johannesburg and experienced an amazing move of God from 1982 -1987, leading worship to thousands of people every week. In 1983 he had an unusual encounter with the Lord in his study for about forty minutes where the vision of Psalmody International was birthed. God told him to prepare course material [Psalmody International School of Worship], and make it available for local churches to teach worship as a way of life to their own congregations.

The School of Worship course material found its way into many denominations and has impacted many thousands of people in 40 nations since that time. In a recent book titled THE WORSHIPING YOU, he say’s WE NEED A REVOLUTION REGARDING WORSHIP THAT WILL TRANSFORM THE CHURCH AND THE WORLD. A SHIFT HAS COME AND IT’S RADICAL!

Tom has a sense of urgency to teach worship as a way of life to this generation and believes that Jesus will return for a people who are passionately in love with Him. “The vision is burning stronger than ever to raise up this generation as worshipers”, he said. He carries a prophetic word for the church that is powerfully anointed and undeniably relevant to all believers for the times in which we live.

In 2004 Tom and his family moved to Sydney to pioneer ‘Sydney Life Church’ in the Mosman/Neutral Bay area that continues to thrive. He still travels internationally to share the vision of what the end time worshiping church will look like. We have the awesome privelege of having Dr Marc Wheway as our guest speaker for the Heritage Mens breakfast on Saturday 16th July 2016.

Marc Wheway was born in England (1969), and spent his childhood years growing up in New Zealand from age 4 and then Australia from age 10. He came to know the Lord while living in New Zealand and then received a call to fulltime ministry while in Australia. From Australia, Marc relocated to the United Kingdom at age 34 where he took up an executive position with Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Scripture Readers Association (SASRA).

Following SASRA, Marc returned to Australia after being appointed the position Chief Commissioner over Everyman’s Welfare Service (formerly Campaigners for Christ). After eight years of combined missionary service to military personnel, Marc retired and was appointed the position, Chief Executive Officer of Scripture Union (SUSA). Following SUSA he took up a senior position with Christians Against Poverty (CAP), before being appointed the General Manager of Interseed.

In addition, Marc directs Kingdom Seekers. Kingdom Seekers is a ministry primarily focused on the End Times. On the subject of eschatology (last things or end times), Marc has earned a Ph.D. through Louisiana Baptist University and Theological Seminary. He now passionately shares his knowledge of eschatology with churches across the globe, of all dominations.
