Next Week at Church

Just an update about what is going on this coming week at church.

The Gold Coast Victory Campaign with Kenneth Copeland and Jerry Savelle is finally here. We are expectant for a move of God during this conference and we if you have not yet registered there is still time. Head over to https://kcm.org.au/gcvc19 TODAY!

We just wanted to keep you up to date with what is happening at the church this coming week.

Our offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday as all the staff will be at the Gold Coast Convention Centre during this time.

There will be NO Tuesday evening or Thursday morning prayer meetings this week but we encourage you to still pray at home with your families and hold up the entire conference in prayer at this time.

There will be no Her Heritage Friday morning Thrive Group either due to the conference.

We will be back for church on Sunday morning as usual with a very special guest speaker Joshua Bulger from the USA. Joshua is the Senior Pastor of West Coast Believers Centre in California and also President of Chariots of Light California Chapter and a faithful supporter of Jerry Savelle Ministries. He is a dynamic preacher and we very much look forward to hearing what God has placed on his heart as he visits Australia.

The following week on Tuesday 17th & Wednesday 18th September the church offices will be closed again to give the staff some much needed rest.

Should you require any pastoral care assistance when our offices are closed please call your Pastor directly or the church emergency mobile on 0449 189 840. Please note that this number is for church emergencies assistance only.

Please let us know if we can do anything in the meantime.

God Bless

Empowered by Holy Spirit

I believe we are in a season of dispensation where God wants His power demonstrated more than ever before in preparation for His return. It will take Signs, Wonders and Miracles to bring in souls because people are searching for solutions to real problems.

1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:2-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬  “For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”

The Apostle Paul did not Preach/Teach to show off his oratorical skills and draw attention to himself. He spoke with Fear and Trembling denoting the opposite of self-confidence. The demonstration of Spirit and Power not only refer to the fact that the miraculous accompanied Paul’s preaching, but also the Holy Spirit’s transforming power in the individual lives of the Corinthians at the time of conversion. This was far more than mere intellect conversion through human Wisdom, they encountered the Spirit Himself. Who demonstrated His presence in them and through them. (Various Gifts & Tongues)

God wants the same for His church today in this time and season we are in. There is a key though. That Key is we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit but not only filled, we need to know the Holy Spirit as He is the one whom Christ left for us to help us and guide us.

Jesus appeared to His disciples after the resurrection and told them exactly what was required from that point on.

‭‭LUKE‬ ‭24:49‬ ‭(AMP)‬‬ “Listen carefully: I am sending the Promise of My Father [the Holy Spirit] upon you;  but you are to remain in the city [of Jerusalem]  until you are clothed (fully equipped) with power from on high.”

JESUS INSTRUCTIONS WERE CLEAR – Wait & Expect.

We need to expect to be filled with the Holy Spirit when we are born again. Then we need to wait on the Holy Spirit and be expectant on a daily basis for Him to clothe us with power, use us and flow through us.

The pre-requisite requirements are that we require faith to receive as well as have a sense of expectancy. Its a promise – done (gift – free). May the Holy Spirit clothe you, empower you and use you as you walk in obedience and faith.

God Bless
