God’s words are placed
Upon our hearts
They are written there
Right from the start

At first when new
They have no voice
Until in time
We make the choice

Now with these words
That have been spoken
Our new life starts
Our spirit’s woken

Each word we speak
Each line we pray
Changes our hearts
Changes our ways

God’s words are now
Within our soul
We are now forgiven
We‘ve been made whole
