A person must dig deep, must be established and founded upon the Word of God (The Word of Faith). If you plant a tree that is about two feet tall, and come back a couple of hours later, it will be an easy task to uproot it with your bare hands. However, if the same tree were planted and left for, say, three years it might then be ten feet tall and the roots would have penetrated to a depth of several feet. See what you can do with your bare hands then! I tell you that tree will not budge.
Let me remind you that as long as you are on this earth the storms will come – it is up to you to make sure that the foundation upon which you have built is firm and steadfast.
The foundation is the Word of God (The Word of Faith) that we are acting on. The Word said when the flood arose, not if, the flood arose, but when. And please note that is was not God that sent the flood. When the flood arose then the stream beat vehemently against the house and could not shake it.
Luke 6:48 They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.
